Renaud Delorme

Biography
Tennis balls, electronic components, keyboard fragments, industrial objects and recycled materials become the raw elements of his compositions. Renaud Delorme plays with distance and perception: from afar, a coherent image emerges, while up close, each individual object reveals its own identity. This dialogue between image and material lies at the heart of his artistic practice.
Well Organized Muses: Icons Reimagined by Renaud Delorme
In his emblematic Well Organized Muses series, Renaud Delorme revisits portraits of iconic figures such as Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot and Nastassja Kinski. The artist reconstructs their faces and silhouettes through meticulous accumulations of objects: tennis balls can form a head of hair, while computer chips and keyboard fragments gradually reveal the features of a face.
These works engage with the visual language of Pop Art while questioning our contemporary relationship with objects, consumer culture and the constant proliferation of images. In the digital age, Renaud Delorme paradoxically turns back to physical materials: the real object becomes a pixel, a colour and a fragment within a larger image. His work creates a continuous dialogue between popular culture, recycling, optical illusion and contemporary art, transforming familiar everyday objects into complex visual compositions.
