NATHAN is an original bronze sculpture by Bruno Catalano, from his renowned Les Voyageurs series, one of the most iconic bodies of work in contemporary sculpture. Recognisable by its fragmented figure captured in motion, this Bruno Catalano sculpture fully embodies the artist’s powerful and poetic universe, exploring themes of departure, absence, identity and travel.
Standing 100 cm high, NATHAN is distinguished by the youthful confidence of its character and the energy that immediately emerges from the silhouette. His stride, self-assured appearance and dynamic posture create a striking impression of momentum and vitality: an unmistakable visual signature of Bruno Catalano’s Les Voyageurs sculptures.
The richness of the sculpture is expressed here through an exceptional level of finish. The bag, a central element of the composition, reveals particularly remarkable sculptural work: its volumes, folds and presence contribute fully to the balance of the piece and reinforce its visual impact. The watch, a more discreet yet refined detail, adds a contemporary touch of elegance and subtly strengthens the character’s identity. The entire sculpture is enhanced by a highly polished finish, which catches the light across the bronze surface and highlights the precision of the modelling. Yet it is above all NATHAN’s youthful attitude, natural confidence and sense of movement that give the sculpture its singularity: a strong, contemporary and deeply expressive presence.
Through its dynamic composition, quality of finish and richness of detail, NATHAN fully belongs among Bruno Catalano sculptures sought after by collectors. This bronze sculpture combines sculptural strength, refined craftsmanship and narrative power, making each work by the artist a significant reference within the contemporary art market.
NATHAN represents a rare opportunity to acquire an iconic Bruno Catalano sculpture: youthful, elegant, distinctive and deeply contemporary.
