With Columna XV, Jesús Curia develops a vertical composition in which several human figures appear to rise and dance through space. Cast in bronze, the sculpture plays on the contrast between the strength of the material and the lightness of movement, giving the figures a presence that is both powerful and airy. The elongated, stylized bodies come together in a subtle balance that evokes ascension, connection and collective movement.
